A Worth While Show is on TONIGHT: COMBINE THE VICTORIOUS

A Quick FYI:
TONIGHT: Aug 11

** I wasn't going to go out tonight, but for this show, i'll bus it down to the Railway...

COMBINE THE VICTORIOUS, GILLES ZOLTY, GOOD NATURED THREAT, and BONNIE BLACKOUT
Genre:
all for $8, doors at 8:30pm, The Railway Club

OK, get out to see Combine the Victorious! Seriously. You've got one of the members of Guilty About Girls, and one of the members of Sex with Strangers (whose voice can be heard on the GAG single 'Candy Candy'). I saw GAG and what an amazing show. Out of countless Railway Club shows, that was the only one I have ever been to where the whole place was actually dancing. Until that point I was unaware that Vancouver could move at all, but there we were, dancing like mad. I expect tonight to be no different. I also saw Sex with Strangers when they played with The Pack AD a couple of months ago, and man, amazing. The GAG show and the Pack AD show were my favorite probably ever in Vancouver. Which means this show will be sweet. And for $8? Check them out while it's cheap.. it won't be for long, I promise you that.
... Look for a review to come later tonight, post-show.

       ... From their myspace:
Combine the Victoriousis Mark R. Henning (record producer/member of Guilty About Girls) and Isabelle Dunlop (fashion designer/ member of Sex With Strangers). They have been writing music together since 2005. The first song they finished, Blue Kitchen, became a tv theme song. So far there are two Combine the Victorious releases: their debut album,The World Over, the more anthemic of the two; and theDisagreementsEP, written after the euphoria of sanguine creation had subsided.
